Description

• Based on X-band radar chip design low-power micro/motion sensing module, center frequency 10.525GHZ, the design adopts fixed-frequency, directional transmitting and receiving antenna (1T1R), integrates the functions of IF demodulation, signal amplification and digital processing, etc., and has the ability to set the delay time, which is convenient for self-adjustment of the parameters.

• Sensing Distance:2~8 meters(Hanging height 3 meters). Output Voltage:3.3V(3.2~3.4V). Power-on stabilization time:15S(13~17S). Blocking/Delay Time:2S/5S(Typ.). ESD Characteristics: Contact Discharge/Air Discharge 2KV(Typ.)
• Resistor R14 is the resistor to adjust the sensing threshold, the default value is the third gear. R14: the larger the resistance value, the closer the sensing distance; (default 14=93.1K). R16 is the resistor to adjust the delay time, the default is the first gear. R16: the larger the resistance value, the longer the delay time. (Default R16=20K)
• Interface Type: (Hole spacing 2.0/2.54mmx3PIN). O:IO detection output G:GND, power ground V:5V(3.3~12V). Max power consumption is 15mA for normal power supply and 110uA for pulse power supply (R17 is not welded for pulse power supply and 2k is welded for normal power supply).

Driver power supply design considerations
Be sure to use the output voltage, current and ripple coefficient of the drive power up to standard, drive power is not stable, electromagnetic radiation is too strong, will cause the radar module false alarms, no perception, cycle of self-starting and other phenomena.

Matching drive power supply should be in 3.3~12V, drive current is not less than 1mA (or 100mA), power supply ripple amplitude should be controlled within 100m V, frequency fluctuation amplitude should be small.

Drive power and radar module assembly, should avoid radar module bottom or antenna surface, facing the drive power module, and should try to stay away from the drive power module inside the rectifier bridge, switching transformer and other industrial frequency interference devices.

Precautions
The device assembled with radar module should be installed far away from ventilation ducts, fire pipes, drainage pipes, mechanical vibration or large metal equipment and other strong vibration objects, because it will affect the radar reflected waves and detection and perception effects.

It is strictly prohibited to work with electricity, so as to avoid action errors, connecting the wrong, burned circuit or electric shock; avoid installation in the sun and rain to prevent damage and affect the service life.

The device must be installed far away from the electromagnetic field place, so as to avoid electromagnetic interference to produce false action; should also be installed far away from the object fixed rotation or swing (such as electric fans, swinging leaves, wind drying clothes, etc.) place, so as to avoid false action.

When several devices with built-in radar modules are fixedly installed, the distance between each device should be ensured to be >0.5m.
